Character Specific Rules.

1. THE KAI SITUATION: I will not roleplay with any Kai blogs unless I know and have spoken extensively with the writer due to bad previous experiences and the character in general. Winter has a lot of complicated feelings about her brother, but has ultimately left him behind after he tried to kill her. She didn't come out of the woodwork for his trial and she didn't come out for his death ( in the verses where his canonical death sticks ).

2. CULT STORYLINES & CHARACTERS: Unless it's been heavily discussed and plotted, I will not be accepting any storylines that take place during the canon timeline of Cult. I also will not be following or going out of my way to interact with Cult canons, unless it's been heavily discussed prior. This especially goes for any Ally roleplayers as Winter would rather do everything in her power to avoid Ally, especially since she's fairly certain that she's on the woman's hit list for everything that she's done while under Kai's influence.

3. WINTER'S SEXUALITY: For some reason, this is a debated topic within the fandom. I'm going to state it here: WINTER IS CANONICALLY A LESBIAN. She has shown nothing but repulsion for men and being touched in a romantic way by men, plus has been referred to as a "dyke" by Kai. I will not accept any arguments on the subject. Anyone who tries to argue or push an unwanted hetero ship will get instantly hard blocked. I'm not tolerating it.

About.

Please excuse the bullet points. I'll develop things more as I write Winter.

- Winter was the youngest Anderson child born, the perfect little girl to round out the perfect little family.

- On the surface, Winter's childhood was fairly normal. To the outsiders looking in, the Andersons led a perfect life and had a perfect family. However, beneath the surface, no one noticed the rot slowly beginning to settle in that only grew more noticable throughout the years.

- Things began to really grow noticable, especially to Winter, as she got into late middle school and early high school. She realized just how differently her parents treated her versus how they treated her brothers. They allowed Vince and Kai plenty of freedom, but Winter wasn't allowed to do much of anything outside of the approved extracurricular activities. She also wasn't able to date, not that she was out to her parents at the time. When she asked why she was treated differently than her brothers, she was told it was because "You're a girl and need to be protected more than your brothers." Any attempt to argue or pushback was met with punishment.

- When she was about 15 years old, she dropped the pink and fluff that her parents had often pushed on her for so long and began developing a darker fashion sense. Unfortunately for her, Scott Anderson would not allow his daughter to fully dress the way that she wanted or dye her hair anything beyond its natural color. This is also the time that she began to demand to be called Winter and not Brigitte. While Julie was willing to go along with it in order to make Winter happy, Scott pushed back and it led to plenty of arguments. Eventually, however, he relented.

- Scott got into his motorcycle accident during Winter's senior year of high school. It nearly destroyed the family due to how severe Scott's injuries were. While he survived, the head trauma that he endured and the fact that he was now disabled changed him for the worst. Whereas he'd been borderline abusive ( to Winter ), he became blatantly abusive to everyone around him. Winter and Julie caught the worst of it, although Winter was able to use various excuses to escape the house more than her mom was able to. This was around the time that she began to self harm.

- College was an escape for Winter and she took the opportunity to only come home during the holidays, much to older brother Vince's anger. She simply couldn't stand being around her father, who criticized her for every tiny detail. It also didn't help that he was consistently homophobic towards her, even though she'd never officially come out to her parents.

- One day, she came home from college to find that her parents were dead in a murder-suicide after her mom snapped. Kai told her that he and Vince had covered it up. She felt horrible for Kai, not only because he'd witnessed it but because he had to live in that house with those corpses.

- Kai convinced Winter to drop out of college, despite the fact that she was happy and thriving. He used his own issues and their parents' deaths to convince Winter not to leave him alone and used their time together to slowly sink his claws into her psyche more and more. She became blind to his true nature, especially as he subtly got her addicted to gore and shock videos in order to help distract her from her self harming tendencies.

- The Pastor Charles incident happens, only furthering Kai's control over Winter.

- The events of Cult happen.

- Kai didn't manage to kill Winter. He was so lost in his own delusions that he thought he did, but he only strangled her to unconsciousness and badly injured her. No one really thought to check her body, especially since Kai ordered everyone out of the basement shortly after Winter's death. Winter woke up sometime after it'd quietened a bit and somehow managed to slip out of the empty basement.

- With only the clothes on her back, she fled to a former friend's house. They'd grown distant once Kai's control over Winter had gotten stronger. The friend was more than willing to help Winter out and helped her to the hospital, checking her in under a false name for protection purposes.

- After Winter was released from the hospital, her friend helped her get a few basics together and then she took off. She didn't stop driving until she was all the way across the country in California, hoping that she was far beyond the grasp of both her brother and Ally Mayfair-Richards.

- More soon.

Verses.

of hollow hearts.

post cult. default. fandomless.

Winter Anderson is now Winter Bardot and living in Los Angeles, California. She works a decently paying job for a youtube channel and pretty much keeps her head down. She does what she can not to bring attention to herself, especially now that Ally is a Senator and could easily destroy the life that Winter has spent the last seven years trying to build. The only person who really knows abou her past is her therapist, who is determined to help Winter and keep her out of trouble.

dead but pretty.

hotel.

Winter stopped by the Hotel Cortez once she got to LA with the intention to rest and try to figure out where to go. Unfortunately, she never left the hotel. She was killed by one of the many ghosts and is now stuck within its walls.

if these walls could scream.

murder house.

Winter moved into the infamous Murder House after someone bought it and began advertising for roommates. It was a strange place and within a few days, she wanted to leave. Unfortunately for Winter, she's stuck because she doesn't have the financials to be able to leave.
